O Canada!

Please excuse my cliché title; I enjoy typing ‘O Canada’ too much not to use it. Last summer, as you may know, I had the incredible opportunity to do City Project. This summer, I’ll be home taking a class and (hopefully) working a job. I will also be spending just over a week in Calgary, Canada with a group from my church. My younger brother will also be going on the trip (it’ll be his first mission trip EVER!), and I am pretty excited. But before I get too carried away, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read about this summer. The opportunities that God has put before me have been exciting and also humbling. Like last year, this trip involves support raising. I have mixed emotions when I hear the phrase ‘support raising’. One is fear, because asking people for money is never fun. The other is gratitude, because I know that support raising is often times how God provides for his mission, and that the money people give has little to do with me and a lot to do with sharing the Gospel.

Whether you’ve supported me in the past or not, I would ask you to pray over supporting me now. My brother and I each have to raise $900, and he will need about $250 to get his passport. For those of you, like me, who don’t do mental math, that’s $2100 total. If you think you are interested in supporting us this summer, we will likely be sending out letters, having fundraisers, etc. Even if you would just like to pray for us, we would love to know who you are and send you more information.

If you specifically want a letter, please send me an email at amccrary@live.unc.edu with your name and address (or a Facebook message).

Thank you!
